Letter #5: SSG Kevin Reagan, 82nd Airborne, US Army

Dear Sirs,
My name is SSG Kevin Reagan, and I am in Cco 3-505th PIR of the 82nd ABN DIV. On September 15th, 2003, I was riding in the passenger seat of a Humvee, when my vehicle was ambushed with an RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade). I recieved shrapnel wounds to my lower body, however, my life was spared because I was wearing your body armor. Several pieces of shrapnel hit my body armor, but did not penetrate the vest. I would like to express my sincere thanks, I have been told that if it had gone through, I would most likely have been killed. I am keeping the vest, as a momento, but the plates were turned in for further analysis. Keep up the good work, YOUR PRODUCT SAVES LIVES! Thank you,

Letter #4: Sgt. Spencer Buck, US Army

Hello, I am Sgt. Spencer Buck and I am currently stationed in Ba'qubah, Iraq. I am writing this letter because I would like to thank the wonderful people who made the Interceptor™ Body Armor for the Military. I say this because I was in a convoy on the 2nd of April 2004 when we were ambushed.

I was the gunner on a five-ton truck when it was struck by a rocket propelled grenade and I was hit in the chest by the shrapnel. My SAPI plate (pictured below) stopped the shrapnel which saved my life. The military doctor told me that if it wasn't for the body armor I would not be alive today. I only received bruised ribs and bruises on my chest. I was able to return duty within two days and was fully healed within two weeks.

I tell my story to everyone out here so they know that the body armor does save lives. Again, thank you for saving my life with your body armor. I attached a photo of my vest and plate so you could see how it worked.
